Frequently asked questionsWhat is a domain name? An organization or an individual may have a unique name, known as a "domain name," assigned to them that allows or permits other people or computers to easily and quickly locate information about them on the Internet. It is a name and/or internet address that is distinctive to you and you alone. It provides a short cut for people who would like to access information about you and/or your business. To use a domain name, you must have an established website.
What will my responsibilities be after I purchase the domain name from Rising Sun Domains? Are there additional expenses? Yes, as the owner of the domain name, you will have an expense in maintaining the domain name. We recommend that you use the services of a quality registrar to register your name. Pay for the fee for the maximum time frame allowed (usually 10 years) so that you won’t have to worry about someone else trying to snap up your name when it expires. Protect your investment! What are my options if I should decide that I no longer want the domain Name? You can also sell the name for a profit to one of your competitors in your area. In the event Rising Sun Domains re-purchases the name from you, we will market the name to your competitors until it is sold again. How can these domains be used to my greatest advantage? Another consideration would be that a single REALTOR® could purchase the Domain Name and by so doing, prohibit the larger firm(s) from having the advantage. Why should I register a domain Name now? What services are offered to you? |
